2010 Work Camp in Chicago - June 27 to July 3
Work Camp this summer is June 27 to July 3rd with DOOR (Discovering Opportunities for Outreach & Reflection) in Chicago. Work Camp is open to all high school youth.
We will be working with urban ministries throughout the city and helping the needy face-to-face. Those who went to work with DOOR in Atlanta for our 2006 work camp found it to be one of the most challenging and meaningful work camps ever.
The cost this year is $375.00 per person and that is inclusive of everything you will need. It is a bit higher than previous years, but much of our registration goes directly to helping finance some of the programs we will be assisting.
DOOR requires a $175 non-refundable deposit for each person going by March 1st, along with their registration materials. (Printable copies of the registration materials are available via the links in the righthand panel.)
It will be an incredible experience for you and I am very excited that we got in. DOOR runs an amazing program.
