Prayer is an important part of our spiritual life. Prayer is literally our personal connection to God, our way to come to know who God is. Federated knows how important this communication is to each one of us and wants to give the church more opportunities to further invite God into our lives through prayer.
John Biel has graciously constructed a wooden prayer cross that will be placed outside of the church’s front doors facing Bell Street. Church members and community members are encouraged to write their prayer requests down on a piece of paper (paper will not be provided) and come to the church, roll up your prayer request and slip it into a slot inside the wooden cross. These prayers are completely anonymous, will not be read, and will only be known to the One Great Creator.
You can then take as much time as you would like to stand and pray or meditate while this holy symbol watches over you. Allow this sacred space to be a time of refuge and renewal for your soul. And Federated, keep praying!!!
