CONTRIBUTING

TO YOUR PLEDGE

You can fulfill your pledge in whatever pattern works for you:

 

  • Monthly, quarterly, once/year, or anything in between.

Ways You Can Contribute:

 

  • Online through Realm. You can set up either recurring or one-time contributions from your checking account or credit card through your Realm profile. Please know that the church is charged a 2.5-3% fee to process credit card payments.

 

  • Your bank’s online bill pay system. This is a simple, no-cost way to make recurring contributions. Check with your financial institution for details on how to set up these payments. Please enter “General Fund Pledge” in the appropriate account number place.

 

  • A regular paper check. Feel free to contribute using this simple, no-cost manner. Please enter “General Fund Pledge” in the memo line of your check. Let the church office know if you want us to reserve a box of weekly contribution envelopes. They are ordered each year by request only and can be picked up in the church office in December.

 

  • Stock Donation. Please inform the church’s Business Office (440-247-6490 x114) of the company name of the stock and the number of shares you are donating. The Stock Donation handout is available here or in the Publications and Documents section of our website.

 

  • Grants from donor-advised funds, charitable trusts, and private foundations. A grant to Federated from these funds can also be used to fulfill a pledge because pledges to Federated Church represent intentions to give, rather than a legally binding obligation. The non-tax deductibility of these grants is maintained.

Tax/Giving Statements:


  • Giving Statements summarizing tax-deductible gifts are sent on a quarterly basis to all donors who pledge. For those members and friends who pledge, the statement includes the outstanding status of each pledge. Please use these statements as a pledge payment reminder and a means to verify the accuracy of your payments-to-date. This information is also available in your online Realm profile.
